What the bride-to-be can wear to her engagement

A Thai engagement ceremony is usually in the morning and often calls for Thai dress, which this shop does not have. The outfits here suit an evening party, a small family event and photos. Check colours and modesty with both families before you book.

Evening engagement party

Fitted long dresses look formal and stand out in photos. All of them show the back or shoulders and are hard to walk in on sand, so for a beach venue allow extra time and bring spare shoes.

A small ceremony with family

The white set with a lace skirt has short sleeves, and the satin set is a long-sleeved crop top. Both have long skirts, but the satin set shows more of the waist, so choose the lace set if the elders are strict about that.

Photos before the day, or a small beach event

Long-skirt sets are easier to walk in than a fitted dress and make it simple to move between photo spots.

The shop does not have Thai dress for the bride, or formal outfits for hosts and mothers. Friends attending often avoid white, so use the guide “What to wear to a friend’s engagement” instead. If you need alterations, ask the shop before booking.

Photos come from the shop’s posts. Tap a piece for its sizes, daily price and dates.
